Meanwhile at the burrow.
As was her routine, Molly woke up at 5 in the morning. She decided to take a short walk down the farm before returning back to feed the hen and her chicken and then
return back to prepare some breakfast for her own brood.
She quickly showered and wore her work clothing under a maroon cardign she had bought the other day at Madam Malkins, only recently had Arthur been made the head of the department of muggle affairs, a post only second to the Minister of Magic himself considering the damage control the Ministry underwent after the battle of Hogwarts.
But before going downstairs to the backdoor in the kitchen, she went over to the first flight of stairs in the Burrow to a room just across it. Ginny was conspicuous only by her absence. Brooding to herself, she made a mental note to warn Ginny from staying overnight at Harry's, now that they were going to get married in less than a couple of months.
On the next flight, she first peeked into Percy's room who was slightly snoring. She still remembered with a pinch of sadness the day he left, only to return afterwards. She couldn't help but laugh at Fred's slight rebuke on that occasion. Fred's memory was his only legacy. Wiping off a tear, she reminded herself to calm down and not offend Arthur and the boys.
Thereafter, she checked on George who since the battle kept to the room he once shared with Fred, playing with his Joke Shop oddments.
On the next landing, she bumped into Hermoine. Good morning, Mrs. Weasley, she said timidly before going down to probably chat with Ginny. Good for Ginny, that Hermoine stayed at the Burrow now. God only knows that the poor girl never had a sister. But if only she would stay at the home herself.
Little Ronnie was fast asleep, maybe he was feigning. Children these days, she thought bitterly. Of late, he had taken to filling the void Fred had left behind and only yesterday while doing the laundry, she found that a particular jumper with an R emblazoned on it danced it's way out of the kitchen towards the farm and then disappeared while somehow 'it gonna get damp' by the Weird Sisters played in the background. Weird that! She must remind him to behave later in the morning.
Lost in her thoughts, she retreated back down the stairs to the farm through her kitchen. She believed she needed to clear her mind these days far too often.
It was chilly outside. Lumos, she whispered. Though it helped to take the edge off the morning, she still kept shivering. Reluctantly, she continued down the dirt path. She thought of making a quick detour towards Arthur's work shed, only the other night she had asked him to take it down. Without any hint that she was staring at the shed, thinking about maybe some kettle bewitched and let loose, she saw something stir in the bushes nearby. It was not uncommon for a little blood tint among a shrubbery of white Magnolia. But then why was the red something moving, probably hiding?
Her suspicion getting the better off her, she went towards those wretched bushes to inspect which were oh-such- favorites of Ginny's.
When she was at a stone's throw away, she called out who's there.A Red head bobbled out. Sorry mom, searching for some gnomes for the dragon pox candies, said George.
Out of concern, she asked him to wear his socks and then he can come back and catch those ugly, bald headed creatures. Women, don't you have six other kids to look after was his parting question.
As he made his way back to the burrow, she noticed he hadn't changed his pajamas yet, oh that boy! But that he had two full ears, she didn't!
