My calendar slate is clear,
but before July it is full
Life seems to ask a lot
And then nothing at all
and all of a sudden that is
I wonder what would I do
after everything seized to be
in the state that it is now
Should I clear the slate and start anew
should I keep up with the flow
Better yet I should stop pondering
Brood on the task at hand
For if July doesn't meet its goal
then after then it never can.
