Adani Power-A Global Power to reckon with.

This article is to be published in Inspire: Adani Corporate Newsletter, June edition.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam has been widely known to say that once people start searching for you on google, you then know that you are an achiever. The very first result on a google search for the keyword Adani Group would let you know that it is a global integrated infrastructure player. Need I say anymore?

Before the advent of this colossus, little had anybody an idea that a company aged only 25 would make dents the size of craters on the moon, be it the stock market or the heart of the common man. Even a human being is said to mature till the age of 60.
But then, we have seen that the Adani group has been an integral and a proficient global giant for the past 25 years and, no doubt it would remain so for at least the upcoming 25 years. This claim can be substantiated by a 3-way analysis of its productivity by its individuals, groups and of its leaders.
Individuals at the company are blessed with a never say die attitude which is a favourite of people of this generation, that helps them perform to their zenith. They are know to perform as a team with astounding abilities.
Secondly, Adani Group has an elaborate network of business in sectors ranging from power to production, from shopping to shipping. And a stronghold at that. Not many leading business groups can juggle half so good. And due to the emerging global market that includes the Indian market, the next few decades would witness a prominent growth in these sectors on a grand scale.
And thirdly, the leaders of the Adani group are its finest pillars. They are worthy of every credit that comes their way and it won't be inappropriate to say that they are the envy of outsiders.

That said,  let's have a look at where the group stands in the next quarter century. Both in the western region and the the northwestern region, Adani Power has a captivating performance and since it is reaching out to other parts of the country fast, there is no doubt that it would emerge as a powerhouse on a national level. Additionally, Adani port is second to none and from the motivation from this, it can be said that it would only grow thereon. Adani petrol pumps can be found at any nook or cranny of  cities like Ahmedabad, this can be made true for every part of the country in the approaching decades. Other sectors in which Adani group has invested include shopping and retail, the general public response of which has been overwhelming, would only grow leaps and bounds. Its presence in Australia and other parts of the world adds up to its glittering pile of achievements.
My vision for the company is that after 25 years, it will become the best company in the entire globe. The group can make its presence felt in other emerging markets like that of China, Korea, many African and South-American countries while keeping a stance in well established markets of the First and the Second world. The natural step would, therefore, include reaching out to the local markets of these places. While a small-scaled fisherman from China would demand for a powerboat to extend his catch, a large scale farmer from the Prairies would demand for extensive reach to the international market, needing an improvement in the transportation and storage for his harvest.
So, if we divide the upcoming 25 years into five equal parts, the first part should be used to focus on market research and reaching out to global demands, while the second and third parts can be used to setting and developing industries in those regions and the next two parts should be utilized to fulfil the dreams of the common man.

Countries like Sweden, Germany and Japan where its citizens are the cornerstone of  its growth, one thing has been found to be common:  Entrepreneurial growth. The growth of India, touted as the next major superpower, is crucially dependent on the growth of its leading entrepreneur  major among which is the Adani group. So, envisaging a golden future for the group is critically linked with the development of India. If India emerges as the next best developed country, we now know which company to congratulate.

So, here’s to a bright future!
